Great car hire company. You will not be disappointed at all. Avoid the big companies at airport. Give BCH a call. They are a 2 minute drive from airport and they will pick you up and drop you off. When we visit NI again we will definitely be renting from BCH again.
Recently hired a bus for the weekend. Picked it up and to be honest it wasnt in the best of shape but it was reasonably priced and would serve my purpose. Went to pick it up and when it was brought down the guy brought it down he said "There is no Diesel in that and you'll have to fill it at the station round the corner." I jumped in and sure enough it was running on fumes. The guy said "I know there was half a tank in that when it left the last time so will have to chase that up" So I drove the mile or so and thought "How much do I put in it?" So put 60 in it as I thought I would be using it, I have zero idea of MPG the bus was going to do. I didnt use anywhere near the amount. So ended up leaving it back with half a tank (Probably about 40 worth) sent email as there was no-one there when i returned it, other than a surly guy who worked for another firm who informed me it was nothing to do with him. Zero response so rang and was told there was no way I was getting any refund on the diesel I had put into it. "You were told to leave it back the way you got it... we dont refund any fuel thats up to you" How on earth could I leave it back with zero fuel? Awful customer service and wont use again.
My wife and I had an excellent experience with BCH Self Drive. Being under 25 and wanting to drive into the Republic, other rental agencies wanted to add extensive premiums onto our bill; however, BCH stood by their "all things are included in the price you see" motto and were significantly cheaper than the competition. Easy pick-up and drop-off, the little Skoda Fabia we were provided was peppy and a blast to drive around the Irish countryside, and the staff were friendly and easy to work with, even coordinating from the US prior to arriving. Highly recommend!
