My go to place for a cooked breakfast when at the international airport for a morning flight. Best Ulster fry available and serve probably the tastiest sausages and black pudding I've had in a long time. Only set back is the price or I would have gave 5 stars, typical airport rip off prices. Ulster fry and a filled soda with 2 x minerals was approx 23
Fed and watered sold me a "filled soda" containing one slice of taste free bacon and a half sized, mud-quality sausage. The fried egg was over done. For the pleasure of doing so they charged me a bloody fortune.Staff member Paul C. When asked "Wow thats more than expected, how much where those drinks?" Felt in his customer service wisdom, that when asked for the price of an item, the correct response was to roll his eyes, sigh, espout "its the aitport mate" then quickly walk away so that follow up questions could not be asked. When asked for a reciept, Pauls responce contained a similar level of guile.Tl:dr. Rubbish, bland food dressed to look fancy, for three times the usual price, and cheek from staff. Its the airport mate.
Probably the best option for food in the airport. It's expensive but then it's the airport and everything is expensive! Good coffee and nice selection of food.
Always a tasty soup as we wait for the gate to be shown..
It came to my attention today that staff are not given their tips. This is particularly disgusting in light of the fact that they are extremely pleasant and helpful.I hope the restaurant rethinks their policy on this by the next time I fly or I will not be eating there and I will be encouraging others not to either.
